This Study Day, the first event of the London School for Languages and Cultures' 2014 Academic Calendar, has been designed to complement and support students’ work at A Level, whilst also encouraging students to think more broadly and creatively, beyond their curricula, about the study of languages and their associated cultures. A combination of plenary, cross-language sessions and smaller, language-specific sessions focusing on particular aspects of A Level syllabi will help give students both a broad and a more focused insight into their linguistic studies. Furthermore, sessions have been designed specifically for teachers to help support their A Level students, and to interact with their peers from across the area.
