Physics Undergraduate Sneha Ramshanker takes up OxRAM presidency
NEWS |
Sneha Ramshanker (2018) is a second year Physics student here at Pembroke. Reflecting on her time here so far, Sneha said: ‘Studying Physics at Pembroke has been a great experience for me so far and it has really changed the way I think.’ ‘In addition, my degree offers a good amount of freedom to explore outside interests (like robotics and 3D printing).’
It is this opportunity to engage with outside interests that has enabled Sneha to join and become President of OxRAM, the University of Oxford's Robotics and Additive Manufacturing Society. OxRAM was one of fifteen student societies to be awarded an Oxford Foundry Booster Grant for 2019/20.
Discussing how her degree studies have benefitted her time working with OxRAM, Sneha commented: ‘Through the insightful tutorials, lectures and problem sets I have come to learn a massive amount of problem solving and logical reasoning techniques that directly link into the work being done at OxRAM.’
