'The Women Who Made the Collection' Art Exhibition

A special exhibition that forms part of our 40 Years of Women anniversary at Pembroke will be featured in the JCR art gallery for a short time only.
Showcasing works from the collection by women artists, The Women who made the collection is presented as a timeline of the creation and growth of the JCR Art collection from the 1940's to the present day. The display traces the acquisition of works by women artists punctuated by key moments and women who have curated, cared for and championed the collection.
The works on display include those by renowned, established and student artists. Prominent artists on display include Olivia Arthur, Sandra Blow, Prunella Clough, Jean Cooke, Mary Fedden, Elizabeth Frink and Sarah Simblet.
The gallery will be open at the following times: Friday 22nd of November 12pm-2pm, Saturday 23rd and 30th November 2pm-4pm, and Friday 29th November 4pm-8pm.
