Women in Law | London

PAST EVENT | 29 October 2019 16:00

We are delighted to invite you to a unique event, recognising an important milestone at The Law Society on 29 October. Pembroke College, together with Christina Blacklaws, current President of The Law Society, is hosting an interactive event with a host of eminent female leaders from all aspects of the legal profession to mark the 100 Year Anniversary of Women practising law and 40 years since women were admitted to Pembroke. We will discuss and work together to consider the challenges that women face in reaching the top of their legal careers, and the measures we can take to address those hurdles and barriers, to ensure a strong pipeline of female talent from undergraduates and recent graduates through to those mid-career and beyond, to help them to navigate their careers successfully. This event gives the opportunity for female alumni to reach out to their senior counterparts to learn from their experiences, with mentoring being a key message.

Tickets cost £35 and can be bought by clicking here.
