What Does It Mean to be Human in the Digital Age?

Dame Lynne Brindley, Master of Pembroke, is chairing a panel discussion at the opening event of the Humanities and the Digital Age Series, hosted by The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH).

Humanities and the Digital Age will be exploring how the digital world is both disruptive and creative, asking how it might reshape the way we create meaning and values.


The event's panel, chaired by Dame Lynne Brindley, features experts from across the Humanities and the cultural sector: Tom Chatfield (author and broadcaster), Chris Fletcher (Professorial Fellow and Keeper of Special Collections at the Bodleian Library), Diane Lees (Director-General of Imperial War Museums) and Emma Smith (Fellow and Tutor in English, University of Oxford).
