Remembrance Act 2019

Our annual Remembrance Day act will take place on Monday the 11th of November at 11am inside the Chapel. The service will operate as follows:
11am: Rev'd Dr Andrew Teal: Introduction and then:
Let us remember before God those who have died for their country in war; those whom we knew, and whose memory we treasure; and all who have lived and died in the service of humankind by reading the names of Pembrokians who have died in the service of their country:
11.01: WW1 names: read by Kirstie Morris (Academic Office) and Peter Corti (JCR President)
11.03: WW2 names: read by Constantin Schneider (MCR President) and Emma Leader (Development Office)
11.05: Nuala Darnell to lay the flowers at the foot of the Altar followed by one-minute silence (Steve Capper to time and indicate complete to Master)
11.07: The Master to close with:
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Amen
11.08: Disperse
Anybody within College is welcome to attend.
