Pembroke Film Masterclass Series - Cinema of Migration: Penalty

Award-winning Filmmaker Aldo Iuliano and David di Donatello Award-winning editor Marco Spoletini will be joining us to discuss the new film, Penalty, on Monday 30th May in the Pichette Auditorium.
The event includes the screening of a making-of featurette, as well as a special message from the DoP, Ciprì.
An open-format discussion with the artists will conclude the masterclass. Do not miss the chance to be part of this important international event discussing the place of migration in society and contemporary European cinema.

The Pembroke Film Masterclass series is supported by Pembroke Annual Fund and was founded by Valentina Ippolito, whose academic research at Oxford University focuses on the cinematic representation of social minorities, with special focus on Italian and Romanian contemporary migration cinema. Valentina wishes to bring together students, academics, film critics and film aficionados, to celebrate the art of cinema at Pembroke College.
