Online Subject Event: Physics / Physics and Philosophy

Throughout April, Pembroke College is running a series of online subject events to help prospective applicants learn more about Pembroke College and the University of Oxford. These events are open to all UK state school students in Year 12.

Each event will consist of a subject lecture, and participants will also be sent a pre-recorded admissions video.

Tuesday, 20th of April will feature a Physics / Physics and Philosophy event. The Physics Lecture, titled ‘How to Design a Large Hadron Collider' will be led by Laurence Wroe from 4pm-5pm. The Physics and Philosophy Lecture, titled 'Special Relativity and the Philosophy of Time’ will be led by  Dr James Read from 5pm-6pm.
