This termly event, supported by The Annual Fund, returns with a new line-up of speakers:
Rebecca Smethurst (MCR) - "Getting 1,300,000 people to help with your Astrophysics Thesis"
Florian Eggloff (MCR) - "Cyber security and the age of privateering: a historical analogy"
Holly Trochet (MCR): "Statistical genetics: Making the most of the data you have"
Oliver Bentley (JCR): "Rethinking Irony and Jin Ping Mei: Celebrating or Censuring Sensuality in Ming China?"
The format will be 10-12 minute presentations, each followed by time for questions. Afterwards all attendees are welcome to retire to the MCR for cheese and wine, and further discussion.
All at Pembroke are welcome to attend.
