Pembroke warmly invites all Annual Fund donors and current students to the Annual Fund Series, to show the College's appreciation for our donors' generosity as well as its impact on the Pembroke community.

This year's guest speaker is Roman Krznaric (1989, PPE), a cultural thinker and writer on the art of living. His books include Empathy, The Wonderbox and How to Find Fulfilling Work. His latest work, Carpe Diem Reclaimed, addresses how society can reclaim the power of seize the day, which has been hijacked by consumer culture. He is a founding faculty member of The School of Life in London, which advises organisations including Oxfam and the United Nations on using empathy and conversation to create social change. He was a speaker at TEDx Athens and has been named by The Observer as one of Britain’s leading lifestyle philosophers.
