Study Skills Day
At the outset of the programme, students from Pembroke London and Pembroke North come together for a study skills day held at Pembroke College. This allows students to see the college for the first time, and to meet the Access Fellow, Dr Peter Claus, as well as Pembroke undergraduates, including alumni of the programme.
The skills day includes an informal group interview to underline motivation and commitment, and students also attend an introductory subject and skills lectures, subject sessions with postgraduates, and an introduction to learning in a lecture, seminar, tutorial and Moodle environment.
