Sub Rosa Boat Club (SRBC)
Lifelong rowing with PCBC alumni...
About us
Former ladies and gents of Pembroke College Boat Club: there’s a world of rowing opportunities outside Oxford. But regattas are more fun when you’re wearing pink. Join Sub Rosa Boat Club and help get an alumni crew together for the event of your choice. As of November 2017, SRBC is registered with British Rowing and able to provide equipment, logistical support and insurance coverage for alumni crews in select events. And yes, will have our own kit (if you’ve ever wanted to design race kit, here’s your chance).
Members will be permitted to use PCBC equipment outside term-time, subject to approval by the PCBC Committee. If there is sufficient interest, we intend to keep a boat racked in London outside of term-time for use by SRBC members. This club exists to help its members continue to have fun and row competitively. Choose a race you want to do, get a crew together (8s, 4s, whatever), do the training* and turn up.
* Necessary training may vary
