Congratulations to Pembroke Fellow and Tutor in Maths, Professor Damian Rössler, who has been reappointed as a Professor of Pure Mathematics by the Oxford Mathematical Institute.

Damian, who officially joined Pembroke as a Professor of Pure Mathematics in 2015, has now officially passed the standard five-year probationary period for fellows, confirming his position at Pembroke until retirement.

Discussing his re-appointment, Damian commented: “I am very happy with my Fellowship at Pembroke, where I have always felt very much at home since my arrival in Oxford five years ago. I get a lot of intellectual stimulation from my interaction with the other Fellows of Pembroke and I feel privileged to have the possibility to teach the students of the college, who are exceptionally interesting and gifted.”
