Travel Funds - Graduates
Pembroke has a number of funds providing opportunities for its students to travel during their degree. For further details about any of the below, contact caroline.barnes@pmb.ox.ac.uk.

SANTANDER UK GRANTS
Undergraduates & Graduates

Santander Mobility Award grants are available for undergraduate and graduate students who are not in their final year
-
The grants are to help with costs relating to study and research abroad in one of the Santander network countries
-
These countries include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Columbia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Russia, Uruguay, USA, Venezuela, Spain and Portugal.

Awards are for up to £500. Typically, ten awards are made annually.
PIER GIORGIO FRASSATI TRAVEL FUND
Undergraduates & Graduates

This fund is open to undergraduate and graduate students for travel in the Long Vacation (summer)
-
The total annual fund is £1000 and typically one award is made annually.

This award is intended to contribute to the costs of travel to any part of the world, with the objective of acquiring further knowledge about that country's development and future prospects in relation to the environment.
-
The planned project abroad should also be connected to the student's subject of study at Pembroke.
SANDREW TRAVEL FUND
Undergraduates & Graduates

The Sandrew Travel Fund is available to non-final year undergraduates and graduates for travel to the United States.
-
The purpose of travel must be to gain a greater understanding of the culture of the US and to benefit academically.

Typically one fund is made annually. In previous years the award has been worth £500.
THE ROBERT BALDRICK MEMORIAL PRIZE
Graduate students only

The Robert Baldrick Memorial prize is for graduate students, not in their final year, studying French or related areas, who wish to study and research abroad.

The total fund available is £100.
MELANDRA CASTLE TRUST PRIZE
Graduate students only

Graduate students who are completing their second year of study but who are continuing the following year are welcome to apply for a Melandra Castle Trust prize.

The purpose of the award is to meet academic costs (including travel) that will further the applicant's academic research.

The total fund available is £1000 and typically one award is made bi-annually.
