Dame Lynne Brindley DBE

I joined Pembroke as Master in summer 2013 and very much enjoy the interactions which I have on a daily basis with our students and staff.

My previous role was as Chief Executive of The British Library where there were challenges in shaping and developing an important historical institution for the modern era.  At Pembroke we have a large number of talented individuals who care about the future of a College which has been at the forefront of teaching and research activities for nearly 400 years.

Pembroke's current members give the College its intellectual energy and my wish is to see that vibrancy supported and encouraged so that future cohorts of students and researchers will also flourish here.
