Jimy Wang is a visiting second-year student from Tufts University. He started playing the piano young and performed accompaniment in various college communities. Having composed his first Canon in Fall 2021 he has become an active participant in the Tufts New Sound Now composition programme led by Professor John McDonald. Jimmy's Early works show the influence of Chopin and Liszt. The soundtracks of Yoko Kanno, Music Director of Cowboy Bebop, intrigued Jimmy to adventure with styles in his compositions afterwards.
