To mark Black History Month, three academics at Pembroke will be giving short presentations on their research as part of the 3CR pre-dinner talks series. 

The first of these will be given by Pembroke Junior Research Fellow, Dr Christopher Wadibia on 'Charity, Prosperity, and Development in Nigeria: Understanding Nigerian Pentecostal Approaches to Nation Building’. 

Chris studies the intersection between Black Christianity, racism, and public policy in Britain. His broader research interests include transnational Pentecostalism, religion and global development, and religion, politics, and society.
