Roland Mumford (1992, MSoM) - Cum Concordia Gentem Florere
Roland Mumford (1992, MSoM) currently works as a Principal Etch Engineer at SPTS Technologies, a capital equipment semiconductor manufacturer based in South Wales, but has always composed music, with music recorded and published as far back as 1986.
Cum Concordia Gentem Florere, loosely translated as ‘With Harmony The People Flourish’ was written especially for Pembroke Connects, but also as a response to the current Pandemic. In a loose rondo form it is meant to represent fortitude, weariness, perhaps stoicism. The title was chosen to reflect that despite this people have used this time to connect and that this can be seen as a positive outcome.
Roland commented "I am grateful to Sophie Dunley for her time and effort in recording this piece; it is much appreciated."
