Poetry at Pembroke will return in Michaelmas 2019! The 'In the Pink' poetry series will commence weekly at 6pm on Wednesdays. This reading will feature Matthew Stewart.

Matthew Stewart lives between Extremadura and West Sussex. Following a comprehensive school education, he took a degree in Modern Languages at St Peter's College, Oxford. He works in the Spanish wine trade as a blender and export manager, and has published two pamphlets with HappenStance Press, both now sold out. His first full collection is The Knives of Villalejo (Eyewear Books, 2017). Matthew has given featured readings over the past few months at two of the most prestigious poetry festivals in the U.K. – StAnza (in St Andrews), and Poetry in Aldeburgh – and he also runs Rogue Strands, one of the best known and most widely read poetry blogs on the U.K. scene.
