'Poetry at Pembroke', a series of poetry readings taking place throughout Michaelmas term! 

The series has been organised by Peter King, Lecturer in Philosophy at Pembroke. Performances take place between 8th October - 28th November. 

Ann Ang is a writer of poetry and fiction from Singapore; her work has appeared in the Quarterly Literary Review Singapore (QLRS), Softblow, the California Quarterly, and the Jakarta Post. She is also the author of Bang My Car (Math Paper Press, 2012), a Singlish-English collection of short stories, which has received numerous complaints for being excessively humorous. Ann is currently reading for the D.Phil. in English at Oxford, and researches narrative structures in the world novel. She is working on her first poetry collection.
