Join Professor of Armenian Studies, Theo van Lint, and fellow Pembroke alumni from the 19th to either the 23rd or 27th of September 2020, as we journey to one of the earliest Christian civilizations. Nestled in the mountainous Caucasus region between Asia and Europe, with stunning scenery, charming villages and incredibly historic art, architecture and manuscripts, this is an unrivalled opportunity to explore this fascinating country in the company of one of the world’s foremost experts on Armenian poetry and Medieval Armenian literature. In addition, local expert Gayane Aleksanyan, voted Armenia’s best independent tour guide in 2018, will provide commentary and anecdotes throughout our journey.
