Cadle, Lawrence Miles

Lawrence Cadle was born on 16th March 1885 in Stockton-on-Tees, the eldest son of Charles Ernest Cadle. After attending St. Peter’s School, York, Lawrence matriculated at Pembroke in 1903. A Captain with 18th battalion of the Australian Infantry was killed in action at Morlancourt, Picardie, France, on 14th May 1918, aged 33. He was buried at the Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, France.
