Development Office Events: Terms and Conditions, Cancellations Policy
Cancellations and amendments
You may cancel your booking at any time before the notified closing date and we will offer a full refund. After the closing date (normally two weeks before the event) we will only be able to refund the accommodation cost of any event. We do not offer a refund if you cancel on the day or fail to arrive for the event. All cancellations and amendments must be communicated by email to development @pmb.ox.ac.uk
1.1 We will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please note, however, that whilst we offer good quality accommodation and will try to meet your needs the College is not a hotel.
1.2 Facilities for children are very limited and parts of the estate may not be suitable for young children. Children remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian at all times.
1.3 Any queries, problems or complaints about accommodation should, in the first instance, be directed to the Porters Lodge or Event Reception.
2.1 Please refer to the College website for information about access. Please alert us when booking of any special arrangements that may need to be made.
Fire Regulations and Health and Safety
3.1 Guests are required to familiarise themselves with, and comply with, all fire regulations, evacuation procedures and health and safety requirements at the College where they are staying. Each room has a Fire Action Notice which should be read and understood immediately on arrival.
3.2 Any malicious activation of, or tampering with, fire alarms or fire equipment will result in a penalty charge of £500 being incurred.
Arrival and Departure
4.1 Check-in time is 1400 and Check out time is 10.00. Requests for early or late arrival may only be accommodated subject to availability.
Missing items, damage or theft
5.1 If, at any time during your stay or visit, or subsequent to departure, there is discovered damage to or theft attributable to you, you will be liable for the costs of repair or replacement.
6.1 No animals are allowed on College or University premises with the exception of assistance (guide) dogs, unless stated otherwise.
Security and Data Retention:
7.1 We employ security measures to protect Your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We will retain your information on Our secure servers for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.
