Information for all freshers
NOTE: THESE PAGES SHOULD NOT BE READ (OR MAY NOT MAKE SENSE!) UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE RECEIVED A MAILING FROM THE COLLEGE IN MID-JULY
For the Academic Year 2007-08
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING REGISTRATION:
As from this year all students, freshers and returners, are required to register on line. All undergraduates and graduates, but not visiting students, will have been sent their User ID and further information on this process with their mid-July mailing from the College. Later this summer your password will be sent to you by e-mail. Please ensure you check your e-mail on a regular basis so that you are ready to register as from 1 st September.
Welcome to the Freshers’ section of the College’s website. We hope you are looking forward to joining us here in Oxford in October. (At this stage your place at Pembroke might not yet be confirmed, as we may be awaiting confirmation that you have met all your conditions of entry. However, in order to meet the needs of students when they arrive in Oxford, planning must begin many weeks earlier which is why we are publishing this information now.)
There is much information that you need to receive before the start of the academic year. In an effort to cut down on paper usage, we have decided to post the majority of this information here on our website. Some of the information only needs to be read and digested, but some of it also contains forms that we require you to print off, complete, and return to us by the date specified. Once you have met all the conditions of your offer we will write to confirm your place. Some of you may already have received confirmation.
If you have any problems with printing any of this information, and would prefer us to send you hard copies in the post, please let us know (admissions@pmb.ox.ac.uk) and we will be happy to do so.
Once you have secured your place at Pembroke, please fill in the necessary forms and return them to us as soon as possible.
The next step is for you to click on the buttons on the left, whether you are classed as an Undergraduate, a Visiting Student, a Graduate student or an MBA student. There will then be clear instructions on which forms to read, and which to return.
Note: ALL students must read the College Regulations and Student Handbook before arriving at College.
