Dr Robert Jackson, a Canadian, is the Fletcher Jones Professor of Government at the University of Redlands in California. He is a Senior Associate at St Antony’s College and Visiting Fellow at the Changing Character of War Programme at the University of Oxford. Dr Jackson has served as a Senior Policy Advisor to two former Canadian Prime Ministers, a Deputy Prime Minister, worked in the Privy Council Office (Cabinet Office) and has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade as well as many other government agencies.
