Easter Study Skills School

The Easter School brings the programme’s students together with Pembroke undergraduates, who share with them a topic from their own degree studies. Students work in small groups with an undergraduate mentor, who helps them work through a topic that they themselves are passionate about. Last year these included the Human Rights Act; theatre in late Elizabethan and early Jacobean London; and women and gender in Cold War Europe. Students then present to the group, sharing what they have learnt. The school ends with a prize ceremony for the best group presentation and individual contributions.

Having come together again as a group, and worked with Pembroke undergraduates, students leave the Easter school well prepared for the challenge of the summer residential school.
