Drew, Raymond

Raymond Drew was born on 30th Oct 1883 at Eton, Buckinghamshire, 2nd son of Frederic Drew, formerly Geological Surveyor and latterly assistant master at Eton College, and his wife, Sara. After attending Rossall School, he matriculated at Pembroke College in 1902. A sergeant with the 22nd battalion, the Royal Fusiliers, he was killed in action in Flanders on 24th May 1916, aged 32 and was buried at the Zouave Valley Cemetery, Souchez, France.
