Wireless Setup Instructions
Starting with the easy one!
Apple Macintosh OS X
Macs should see the SSID 'PMBStudent'; try and connect- you will be asked for a username and password, use your college computer room account.
Don't forget to email IT so we can activate you account for wireless
Windows XP setup
Click on Start > Contol Panel > Network Connections. You then need to right click on Wireless Network Connection > Properties.
Click add in the Preferred Networks tab.
On the Association tab fill in the boxes as below.
On the Authentication tab fill it in as below.
on the Authentication tab click on Properties.
Tick "Validate server certificate"
Tick "Enable Fast Reconnect"
The Click on "Configure" and untick "Automaticly use my Windows login name and password(and domain if any)"
Click OK and close the open windows.
By the clock you should get a popup like this
Click on it and enter your Pembroke college computer room account details
Please do not forget to email us your username for wireless to work.
