Academic Office
The Academic Office is a team of four people, headed up by Jackie Lewis, the Academic Registrar. Her team are responsible for all academic matters including admissions, and is a "hub" of activity within the College.
Accommodation
The Accommodation Manager, Jane Osborne, is responsible for all aspects of accommodation and rooms for students, Fellows, staff and conference delegates alike. Jane has 22 Scouts, (the Oxford term for "cleaners") reporting to her.
Accounts
The Accounts office consists of a team of three people and is run by the Director of Finance, Nigel Bird. They deal with all the financial aspects of the College including the collection of student fees and charges.
Bursars' Office
The Bursar, John Church, is responsible for all financial matters of the College and is Project Director for the New Build Project.
The Home Bursar, Daren Bowyer, is responsible for all other non-academic issues concerning the running of the College, including all matters relating to personnel and staffing.
They are supported by the Bursars' Secretary who deals with the administration of these matters.
Conference and Catering
The Conference and Catering department is a two-sided operation with the Conference Manager, Heather Earwicker, and her team responsible for the hosting of conferences, seminars and private functions.
The catering side is run by Head Chef, Kevin Dudley, and his team, providing excellent meals for staff, students and visitors.
Development
The Development Office is responsible for alumni relations and fundraising. The team consists of Andrew Seton, Strategic Development Director, a Deputy Development Director, an Alumni Relations Manager, a Development Database and Website Officer, and a Development Assistant. A major fundraising campaign has recently been launched.
IT
Simon Thomson is the College's IT Systems Manager and he is aided by an IT Officer and an Assistant IT Officer. They will get you registered to the College network and help you with any problems you are encountering with your computer.
Librarian
The McGowin Library is staffed by a full time librarian, Lucie Walker, along with one part-time library assistant and a part-time archivist.
Lodge
The Lodge is run by the Head Porter, Brian Harvey and his team of six very friendly Porters. The Lodge is the "reception" of the College , welcoming visitors and seeing to the safety of students and staff.
Maintainance
The Maintainance department is responsible for the maintainance and upkeep of all the College buildings and accommodation. The Deputy Home Bursar (Buildings and Facilities), Charlie Harris, has four members of staff reporting to him, and is also assisted by a Maintenance Supervisor.
